Consumer health data privacy notice.
Effective October 23, 2026
Effective date: October 23, 2026
This notice is part of the Kintently Privacy Policy. It describes how Kintently LLC handles consumer health data, as required by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law, and similar state laws. It applies to everyone, wherever you live.
Consumer health data we collect
- Check-in ratings about the daily living of the person you care for, including mobility, hygiene, dressing, eating, toileting, medication, healthcare, finances and communication
- Their living situation, such as assisted living, nursing home or memory care
- Notes, photos, facility issues and emergency descriptions you record (for example, a fall or a change in memory)
- Your answers about your own caregiver burnout, in the app and in the website quiz
- Scores, trends, suggestions and plans Kintently derives from that information
- Voice notes, which we turn into text and do not keep as audio
Where it comes from
From you, from members of your care circle, and from our calculations based on what you provide.
Why we collect and use it
Only to provide the features you ask for: scores and trends, your shared timeline, AI-generated insights and plans, voice transcription, quiz results, and support. We do not use consumer health data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
- Members of your care circle, whom you invite
- Our service providers, who process it for us under contract: Lovable (hosting, database, storage, email and AI routing, with Supabase and Cloudflare), Google (Gemini AI model), and ElevenLabs (voice transcription)
- Others only when the law requires it, or when you direct us to
Your consent
We ask for your consent before collecting consumer health data and before sharing it beyond what is needed to provide the service you requested. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@kintently.com. Withdrawing consent means we stop collecting new health data, which ends your use of the features that depend on it.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, give you a copy, tell you which third parties and affiliates received it, delete it, or stop processing it. Email hello@kintently.com. We will respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line, and we will respond to the appeal within 45 days. If you are unhappy with the outcome, you can contact your state attorney general.
